Yes, we stopped supporting packs after SDK v10.0.0, so the ones found in the Keil pack installer are not compatible with SDK v11.

Finally I found here is a way to let it work with SD130v2.0.1, download the SDK11 package and DO NOT USE the Nordic example provided by KEIL pack installer. I suggest you better to have a notice to tell developers NOT TO USE the example in KEIL. Or remove them. Thanks.

Hi Henry,

I am seeing the same behaviour as you when I flash the application hex(nrf51422_xxac_s130.hex) and the SoftDevice(s130_nrf51_2.0.1_softdevice.hex), i.e. the PCA10028 is not advertising.

If I flash the alpha version of the Sofdevice( s130_nrf51_2.0.0-7.alpha_softdevice.hex) together with the application, then the PCA10028 advertises and blinks LED1.

Are you sure that you're using the production release of SDK v11.0.0 and not the alpha release?

I have attached the ble_app_hrs hex(nrf51422_xxac_s130.hex) for the PCA10028 that I compiled using SDK v11 and I have verified that this works with the S130 v2.0.1 that you attached. Can you try to run this on your PCA10028?

@bjorn-spockeli : I did test again and it still only work with SD130 v 2.0.0-7alpha. The SD130 v2.0.1 didn't work, please download the images and test with your board, thanks.

@henryli : Tested both the S130 v2.0.0 and v2.0.1 with the ble_app_hrs example for the PCA10028 in SDK v11.0.0 and I was able to see the devices advertise and connect to them in both cases. Have you tried to debug the applications to see if you end up in the app_error_handler?

Hi, Finally I got it work with the SD130 image: s130_nrf51_2.0.0-7.alpha_softdevice.hex under folder: "C:\Keil_v5\ARM\Pack\NordicSemiconductor\nRF_SoftDevice_S130\2.0.0-7.alpha\hex" with the same example project, but still no luck with the S130 2.0.1 download from www.nordicsemi.com/.../53724 I never modify the example file, just let it program to have a first running.

Please check if there is something wrong with S130 v2.0.1 between S130 v2.0.0-7alpha

@henryli : The examples in the SDK should work out-of-the-box. Have you tried the precompiled hex file as well?

Are you sure you flashed everything correctly and the LD settings are correct? I did the same and it is working perfectly. Did you make any changes to source or make file?
