@Jon: I mean for testing purpose you can try to use the S130 on the dongle just for verifying the behaviour if it's not the same between when using driver (which is the serialization bridge) and use the firmware directly.

S130 v2.0 is at production level (from few months ago). The github repo for the ble_driver is not, but it's stable.

I see the new driver is not a drop in replacement beause it uses the s130 v2 SD, while I am on the v1. What is the status of the S130 v2 softdevice? Is it considered production ready?

Thanks for the response. I manually calculated the confirm value and found that the dongle was sending the incorrect confirm value. I haven't tried to use the S130 directly because the app has to run on the PC. Will look into the newer driver.

Hi Jon,

I assume you are using static passkey on your peripheral. Have you tried to use the S130 directly (the ble central example in the SDK) to pair with the peripheral (without the ble_driver)?

I am suspecting the issue could be with the driver.

I got some information from our developer that bonding did not fully work on the ble_driver v0.5 . You may want to try our newer one here. It's not the final version but pretty stable.
