what is the initial output state of the comparator in single ended mode, if the input voltage is between the upper and lower threshold?
Is it undefined, always high, low or is there even a way to control it? I cannot find any information

RE: initial state of COMP in single ended mode

Thank you!

RE: initial state of COMP in single ended mode

Hi,

In the case that Vdown < Vin+ < Vup the output will keep its previous value, if the previous value Vin+ > Vup the output stays high, if the previous value Vin+ < Vdown the output stays low. If the output has had no previous value, ie. if this is the first iteration the output is undefined.

Best regards,
