&lt;p&gt;The ANT stack is not developed by Nordic, but rather Dynastream, the company behind THISISANT. The reason we don&amp;#39;t supply them is because of licensing. Previously with the nRF51422 we did supply the ANT stacks, but then the licensing cost was baked into the cost of the individual nRF51422 chip.&lt;/p&gt;

If you are not worried about ANT you can ignore them.  Because they are ANT they are treated a little differently.
