&lt;p&gt;For setting the TX power with SoftDevice active the function sd_ble_gap_tx_power_set can be used, please find documentation for it &lt;a href="http://infocenter.nordicsemi.com/topic/com.nordic.infocenter.s132.api.v2.0.0/group___b_l_e___g_a_p___f_u_n_c_t_i_o_n_s.html#ga0f1931af876bef39520c58de5ac060ca"&gt;here&lt;/a&gt;.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;The nRF52 and BLE in general operates with an on air datarate of 1 Mbit/s, note that this is the datarate for the protocol.
