@Raja: I'm glad that it worked for you.

Regarding the schedule for releasing source code for nRF Connect, if nothing changed from the last time I heard about the plan, it would be release in a couple of weeks meaning 2-3 months expected.

OK, further looking into the code, I was able to successfully create a VS 2015 project to link with the latest ble-pc-driver (found as sub project under ble-pc-driver-py repository) for Advertising and HRM. They are working as expected.
