You're right that nrfjprog is currently not included in the zip, since it require some register settings. The zip is primarily targeted at those who try to use the SDK on platforms other than Windows, in which case nfjprog doesn't work anyway.

The SDK 5.1.0 is downloadable in MSI form and ZIP. I simply unpacked the ZIP but nrjfprog was not there, maybe in MSI version..

nrjfprog should be part of the SDK install, and is by default placed in C:\Program Files (x86)\Nordic Semiconductor\nrf51\bin. The 0 kB shown by the installer is unfortunately not quite correct, and even though this is apparently empty, it should be included.

If you don't have it after install, can you please upload an install log?

I think it was the part of nRFgoStudio package, try to install it. It also includes some USB drivers for segger debugger (I use it on PCA10001 kit)
