All versions before this has support through the vendors drivers.</p> <p>If you have issues with HID-over-GATT in XP and Win7, then you must check with the supplier of your dongle to see if this is officially supported from their side.</p> <p>A possible solution is to have a multi-protocol mouse, similar to our reference design: <a href="https://www.nordicsemi.com/eng/Products/Bluetooth-R-low-energy/nRFready-Desktop-2-Reference-Design">www.nordicsemi.com/.../nRFready-Desktop-2-Reference-Design</a></p> <p>The mouse/keyboard will then connect via a proprietary RF protocol if it does not get any BLE connections.</p> <p>Best regards Håkon</p><div style="clear:both;"></div>
