&lt;p&gt;Sounds like you may have forgotten to flash over the S110 nRF51822 Softdevice, so that the bluetooth stack is actually present on the device. This stack is not needed for the &amp;quot;common&amp;quot; examples such as blinky.&lt;/p&gt;
