I loaded the code available at github for system on wakeup on gpio current and measured the current in low power mode by connecting a multimeter to a nrf51 dk.
The value i am getting is 25 ua. Can anyone tell me why i am getting such a high

RE: System On Wakeup on Gpio High Current Consumption

Hey Stefan, It worked. I was not resetting it . So basically SDK11 must be used instead of SDK 10, is that something we can say ?

RE: System On Wakeup on Gpio High Current Consumption

Hey Stefan, I tried the same code using the SDK11 instead and I am getting the same value of current. I was using a usb cable before but now i have switched to a coin cell battery and the sleep current starts from 180ua and drops till 1 ua and then start increases to 30 ua and stabilizes. Why there is such a random behaviour.
I am running the github example in SDK 10. I am using a multimeter and directly connecting to the p22 connector.

RE: System On Wakeup on Gpio High Current Consumption

Hi

Make sure you disconnect everything from any GPIO pins on your nRF51-DK board, to prevent current leakage. Disconnect the USB cable and power from a battery instead to get the lowest current consumption. Are you running the github example in SDK 11? What measurement method are you using? Additionally, go through the troubleshooting list in the nRF51 current consumption guide.
