You can set up device manager to push events to your application. In ble_app_gls (SDK 10), device_manager_evt_handler receives those events. The list of events can be found in device_manager.h

When you want to use your own passkey (called static passkey), you should follow the message sequence chart for static passkey. For S132 v.2.0.1, it is this message sequence chart, and it is not necessary to make modifications to the device manager.

Which version of the SDK do you use?

where is variable evt.gap_evt.params.passkey_display.passkey initialized, and can i access it to have my own passkey.

in the example code device manager is used instead of peer manager, any way i decided to follow device manager, in example code the function dm_security_setup_req() is called in timer ISR, but iam not using timer in my project, where should i call that function in my project.

Yes, ble_app_gls uses static passkey and the peer manager to handle the bonding. The example documentation explains how to test it.

The easiest way to make ble_app_uart support pairing/bonding is to add the peer manager module to your application. For how to do it, I would recommend you to have a look at the peer manager documentation and an example that use peer manager, like ble_app_gls for instance.
