I've found the error when I tried to compose a sample project to reproduce this issue. My mistake was that I wrote the retention register (NRF_POWER->GPREGRET) when the SoftDevice was enabled. This was the reason for the fault and not the soft reset.

Yes, I am sure. The reason for using V2.0.1 is that I just migrated from nRF51822 with S130 V2.0.1 to the nRF52832.

I will try to reproduce this, but are you sure you are using S132 v2.0.1? Since it doesn't have any SDK support, and v3.0.0 is available?
