&lt;p&gt;The limit is on having several connections in the same role. In the case of the S132 you can only have two connections if one is a slave connection and the other one is a master connection, and this is not forbidden.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;We are not planning to disallow this, so you would have to add a check in your application if this is something you want to avoid.&lt;/p&gt;
