Rotating/translating the kit with peak values up to 500 gauss for about 7 minutes indicated no problems from what I could see during the total for ~20 minutes :)

Yes, I would assume that if the nRF52 exposed to a magnetic field runs the ble_app_hrs example without any problems, then the other examples will work as well.

I will do a test today using the HRM simulator example connected to my phone, I assume this if example works it is valid for all other examples i.e. BLE NUS etc..?

As far as I know we have not done any testing with the nRF52 in a magnetic field. I also do not know if any of the components on the nRF52 DK contains ferrite. You will have to go through the BOM in the nRF52 Hardware Files, found here.
