&lt;p&gt;nRF51 SDK v6.1 only support softdevice S310 v1.0.0, which is based on S110 v6.0.0. This SDK version support softdevice S110 v7.0.0, which has a newer API. The structures, functions and defines that reports error in your compilation were first introduced in S310 2.0.1, which is based on S110 v7.1.0. See the &lt;a href="http://www.nordicsemi.com/eng/nordic/Products/nRF51-DK/S310-SD-v2/40166"&gt;s310 v2.0.1 migration document&lt;/a&gt; for details about changes and additions.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;To make this migration, you will have to change the code to support S110 v6.0.0 API for the BLE part, or migrate to a newer SDK version that support S310 v2.0.1, for instance &lt;a href="https://developer.nordicsemi.com/nRF5_SDK/nRF51_SDK_v7.x.x/"&gt;nRF51 SDK v7.2.0&lt;/a&gt;.&lt;/p&gt;
