Hi emdi, how do I set fds & PM priority as the same level if I use SDK12 and disable the MACRO "FDS_THREADS". thanks!

Thanks emdi! After thinking about it this was the same conclusion I came to, except I plan on running it in the same thread as the peer manager.

You can definitely do that, even without defining that macro. Simply run you application and the PM at the same priority so that the RTOS won't preempt the application task with the task running the PeerManager, thus avoiding potential race conditions on shared memory inside FDS.

Bjorn,

Can you please comment further on using FDS in my application along side FDS used in PEER manager? Should I avoid this? If so what is Nordic's recommend on saving custom data to flash and using the peer manager ?

Hi Darren,

Yes, the FDS_THREADS feature is still experimental in SDK v12.1.0.
