Great Marcin, Note that DFU bootloader officially supports gcc from SDK v7.0. The current SDK now is SDK v12.1

Yes, you can do that as well. But at the beginning you need to flash the bootloader and softdevice which requires SWD. Then you can do DFU update via BLE after you have your bootloader and softdevice.

Hi, but I don`t want to use SWD or UART. I want to use Bluetooth to download code. I have already working device which I gonna sell soon, but I want to add possibility to updating code without any external cables with FTDI. I want to use Bluetooth.

Hi Marcin, you can use NRFGo Studio or use KEIL directly to download your hex via SWD interface. Please follow this guide.

There is a command line tool called nrfjprog.exe can also do flashing. Please download nRFTool

Sorry, but I dont remember now. When I will have free time I will check it and I will let you know. I think I had problem with make file. I have downloaded the new SDK and I cant see there any application which could download my hex to NRF by bluetooth. I would like to use some kind of tool like Flash Demonstrator at STM32. Could you help me somehow?

I am using SDK 10 beacuse SDK 11 when I was starting work with NRF couldn`t work with eclipse. I will check the new SDK and I will post the answer if it helped.

Have you heard of our nRF5 SDK ?

In the SDK you can find our bootloader which allow you do DFU via BLE.
