In devzone.nordicsemi.com/.../nrf51922-1 I see there is a reference to an upcoming S130 image which may accomplish that.

I'm not sure what Nordic Semi schedule for delivery on this is.

And it won't be able to scan either while in peripheral mode ?

I am sorry, but we do not have the functionality to switch from peripheral to central on-the-fly.

So Hakon you mean that the stack, when using the nRF51822, can be changed from the firmware from S120 to S110 ?

My device needs to be peripheral all the time but in a specific situation it has to be central.

Hi Federico,

Sorry for misspelling your name in my former post. We have a central stack, S120, but this does not have peripheral capabilities. We also have the peripheral stack, S110, but this does not have any central capabilities.

This means that you're unfortunately stuck (atleast at this moment) with either central or peripheral. None of the currently available stacks can do both periperhal/central concurrently.

S1xx will work on both nRF51822 and nRF51422.

Hi Frederico,

At this moment, we do not have a stack that can be both peripheral and central by switching in firmware.
