I found this page, www.bluetooth.com/.../viewer, which listed the appearance codes. However, the heart rate device 0302 (770) was not in the list, instead 0340 (832) is used in this list.

After changed the apperance code to 03c0 (HID Generic, I did not find a touchpad subtype), Win10 shows mouse/keyboard device after pairing. I guess it was because of I have added Boot Mouse/Keyboard Input in the profile?

Thanks for the great help! Where can I find a full list of HID appearance code? I am building a (force sensitive) touchpad device which can also work as a keyboard, what is the right code for it? And I am also confused about the HID report. How do I report touch events and keyboard events? What should I add in the configuration? Thank you!

Have you checked the <Apperance>0302 definition?

I assume you haven't used the board as a hart rate device with this computer previously, so there could be caching issues?
