I inspected newer device markings and they look a bit different: 
 
 Pin 1 marking is square not circle. 
 Build code is 0.

It could be valid; I&amp;#39;ve seen square markings before. However, the chip markings may have been copied from an authentic chip, so if you want to be 100% sure you will have to send the chip to us.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;The chips needs to be sent to our Quality Assurance(QA) department for analysis. I kindly ask you to create a support ticket in our &lt;a href="http://www.nordicsemi.com/eng/Support-Community/Contact-Support-Team"&gt;Mypage&lt;/a&gt; system (remember to link to this devzone question) and then I&amp;#39;ll transfer it to the QA guys. The QA guys will provide you with instructions and shipping address.&lt;/p&gt;
