If no readback protection has been set when flashing the chip, it is possible to read the firmware hex file from flash using <a href="http://infocenter.nordicsemi.com/topic/com.nordic.infocenter.tools/dita/tools/nrf5x_command_line_tools/nrf5x_nrfjprogexe_reference.html?cp=5_0_3_0">nrfjprog</a> or <a href="http://www.nordicsemi.com/eng/Products/2.4GHz-RF/nRFgo-Studio">nRFGo studio</a>, if you connect the device to your computer using a Segger debugger.
