It seems to me that your are not "compiling" but running "openocd" and that openocd is complaining about "-c nrf52 mass_erase". I don't know openocd, but I would guess it is trying to invoke a program named "nrf52". Have you checked that program is runnable from the command line? In other environments, there is a utility from Nordic called nrfjprog which does chip erasing.

Actually I missed some steps like I didnt install the libusb driver, libudev-dev, hidapi and libftdi, Bcz of these I got the error for compiling nrf52. but When I installed all these drivers then again hit the ./bootstrap and then ./configure.
