Sorry, I thought that the title of the topic corresponded exactly to the problem I am having (as PCA10001 also belongs to the Devkit) and that a solution to it in this topic would have simplified the search of a similar problem for a developer. However P8 was removed during the measurements, thus I will open a new post, you can delete this one and the previous if you want.

It would have been nice if you posted this as a separate question instead of hijacking this old one. However, when doing current measurements on the PCA10001, you should make sure to remove the jumpers on P8 on version 1.0, or turn off the Segger using SW4 on version 2.0.

If this doesn' solve it, please post a separate question.

I am having some similar problem with the PCA10001 v1.0. Between advertising peaks, I measure a current of 25-30uA while 3uA are expected. Do you have an explanation for that?

Yes, to measure low currents, I'd recommend to do current measurements on P7 on the motherboard instead of using the CSM. This can be done by setting the jumper on K1 to pins 1 and 2, and then using an amperemeter directly on P7 (replace the jumper there with an amperemeter). This should show you the real consumption in system off, < 1 µA.
