Just realized I had made a few silly mistakes: I was using the wrong pre-compiled hex for the Blinky application which caused this problem on both DK and the custom board. Also, my application uses the softdevice and I forgot to program the boards with s132 hex first. Now both DK and custom board are working!

Hi butch, I had originally searched the forum for it and realized that it could be a result of many different problems (now I know what's wrong). The loader script was never changed and was working previously though.

Hi Hung, Although that's what I tried when I initially posted this question (programming the pre-compiled Blinky hex), I now figured out what was wrong and will be putting it in an answer, thanks!

Isn't that generally a problem with the loader script? If you search this forum for 0xfffffffe you should get related answers, that error message is common.

I guess it's still possible to erase the chip and reprogram it ?

Could you try to test to erase the chip and program the pre-compiled hex file included in the SDK, could be from the blinky project ?

You can try to read the flash out and compare if it matches with the hex you program on.

Please also make sure all the LED still work properly, test with an advertising example could be good idea.
