Hi, I'm trying to do exactly samething as you did. I have used exact same example code and tried to communicate. But I don't know why I'm not able to communicate my ANT device with my eval board. I have followed the suggestion and used the public network key as follow: 0xE8, 0xE4, 0x21, 0x3B, 0x55, 0x7A, 0x67, 0xC1.

OK. Works good now. Thanks for the info. I made the assumption that the demo project should work as is (as most other vendor demos usually do). I'll keep this in mind while working on future demos for the NRF chip. Thanks. ;)

Hi Mike

You need to add the public ANT+ network key to ble_ant_app_hrm example code. The simulator uses the public ANT+ network key and this key must be the same for the ANT+ transmitting and receiving device.
