Problem is, how do you do that? I now know at least 2 ways to do that, one of them doesn&amp;#39;t work at all and they are completely contradictory.

Many of our apps are doing this. You can also use nRF Connect for Android and PC to test this easily. Or you can can use ble_app_hrs_c. It is enabling notifications as well. You should add a new question explaining what you have actually done.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Method 2: You shouldn&amp;#39;t use this if you are not connecting to a device you have a bond with, and that device has enabled notifications earlier.
