Keil worked in a new EventRecorder feature that uses some SWD buffer memory to push data out to the IDE/Debugger, and an XML format that makes this data useful and laid out

RE: Keil's EventRecorder, is it soft device safe?

Please let me know your findings after you have come to some conclusions with the comparison.

RE: Keil's EventRecorder, is it soft device safe?

Looks like it.

Now I just need to wonder if Segger's solution is better for the graphical qualities and universalness of it - or Keil's is more ideal for the better XML usage and that it's built into the IDE.

Ok. I'll figure it out and see how well it works with the SD. Thanks.

RE: Keil's EventRecorder, is it soft device safe?

Hi SRA,

This looks very much like Segger's SystemViewer.

I have experimented with systemview and also few others as discussioned in this blog. They do not conflict with softdevice.

I have not read full details of Keil's EventRecorder, but if it does not conflict with softdevice interrupt priorities then it should be safe to use both together.
