I am trying to upgrade the firmware in a BL652 using a Segger Jlink Edu.
The BL652 is powered with 3.3v using a regulator off the JLink 5v output.
I had poor/unreliable firmware upgrade success by FTDI/USB/uart.
I have had one module upgrade

RE: BL652 firmware upgrade by Jlink Edu fails

Glad to hear that you found the cause of the issue :)

RE: BL652 firmware upgrade by Jlink Edu fails

A little bit of embarrassment here.

Because it takes considerable force to plug my BL652 adapter into the cheap breadboard I have I did not notice that I had bent a pin.

With the pin fixed I have now successfully upgraded the firmware in my BL652 modules using the JLink.

RE: BL652 firmware upgrade by Jlink Edu fails

This morning I checked my hardware.

I found that I had wired a connector adapter from the JLink to my BL652 adapter as a JTag configuration.

Rewired my connector adapter as SWD and I had some success.

I was able to upgrade the FW of one of my BL652 modules from 28.6.1.2 to 28.6.1.4.

However the BL652 module that suffered a UART FW upgrade failure did not recover using the JLink. I can only guess that the boot loader has been corrupted in some way.

Attached is the JLink log file.log 20170105.pdf
