How can i calculate distance using RSSI. is there any existing method available? i tried statically(like 35-40=1m 40-45=2m) but i dont know actual method to get distance using RSSI. Please Help me.
Thanks advance.

RE: How to caliculate distance using RSSI

1 metre accuracy? To the best of my knowledge - no.

Perhaps for <1m, 1-10m, >10m - and very roughly at that.

You could attempt a test set-up to measure and calibrate for your device and your environment - but the moment anything changes (e.g. a person in the room moves a few inches) - then the RSSI values will likely change significantly.

RE: How to caliculate distance using RSSI

Yes i am getting near and far. bus is there any method to get 1M accuracy using RSSI? if no signal reflections, orientation of antennas problems?

RE: How to caliculate distance using RSSI

RSSI is a very unreliable parameter for determining distance.
It's strongly affected by signal reflections, orientation of antennas etc.

Typically you can get a rough indication of "very close", "far away" or "somewhere in-between those two".
