I didnt know Nordic did custom / private versions. I wonder how its functionality differs from the standard version.

I have been told that the internal Device ID is not the same as any known nRF51, so some programmers will not upload code to it.

So, I will pass on the info about it being a custom product

Hi Roger,

I haven't heard anything about that but it's listed in "nrF51deviceids.xml" among valid targets as issued by Nordic with nRFgo Studio (and probably other tools). So I guess it's some custom version (therefore no official information on Nordic website or Infocenter) but you might get products with it and it should be genuine nRF51;)
