when developing I often use Google search to find documentation. I prefer using external search engines, since this includes results from StackOverflow and similar sites in additional to documentation from devzone.
However, for some reason results

RE: Documentation links obsolete

Yes, this is a common problem. Many things change but other, for example the ble_gatts_attr_t change little between versions, so these should be possible to link correctly.

One website where they have solved this in an elegant way is the Python page. Here you can easily switch between versions using the drop down in the top left corner, even between major releases.
docs.python.org/.../stdtypes.html
I know this is not in the Nordic webpage a the moment, so I leave this as a suggestion for future updates of your website.

RE: Documentation links obsolete

No, there is no way to directly link between document versions. Its 3 years between the versions, things have been totally reworked, new things have been added, and some deprecated things have been removed.

RE: Documentation links obsolete

I am aware of the infocenter, but this was not my question. I find the search tool on the invocenter much more difficult to use compared to google. I want to be know if there is a way to link between the documentation versions. For example in the case where a devzone answer refers to an old document, be able to link to newer versions without having to start searching from the beginning.

RE: Documentation links obsolete

Hi,
