The ESB protocol has a 9-bit header. To make nRF5x compatible with that header, to get 9 bit extra, both S0 and S1 should be set to '1'. Note regarding S0 and S1: one of them is in byte, the other is in bit.

It's fine , the wrong what I've done was I changed the s0, s1 field's length to 0. and I reset it to 1 the code runs fine, and can receive nrf24le1 pkt well;

but I have a question about this config: nrf24le1 are no s0. s1 field, why I should set those length to 1?

Could you enable logging in the example, to check if the example is running?

Enable logging:

1) sdk_config.h --> configuration wizard: Enable logging (NRF_LOG_ENABLED)

2) sdk_config.h --> configuration wizard: Set NRF_LOG_DEFAULT_LEVEL to "debug".
