This is a reach, but did you ever resolve this issue? I am also facing the same exact problem and dont know how to debug this! Thanks.

Please try again with the default DFU bootloader. Also please try to update a stock example application instead of your application.

Hi Hung,

I have modified the bootloader slightly to see my button and LED pins and to add an extra constraint on entering DFU mode in the first place. No code was modified after the DFU initiation.
On the first time I do a DFU install it does enter directly, after this it does not.
I see nothing after I finish DFU, no advertising or anything. I have tried to debug if it does jump to the application and from what I can tell it does not.

Did you modify anything in the bootloader ? If you simply test with normal application, such as the ble_app_hrs do you have the same issue ? On the first time when you do DFU to install initial application can you enter application directly ?

You can try to debug the bootloader and check why it doesn't jump to application. (there could be the chance that it jumps to application but application couldn't start). What do you see after you finish DFU ? Does it advertise ?
