The malformed data seems to happen about 10% of the time and comes from all my smart beacons. 
 This could be because I&amp;#39;m using the nRF52 DK as the sniffer.

&lt;p&gt;It looks like the sniffer does not do the normal error detection on the traffic its listening to&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Which is interesting, as it implies that the sniffer is using either undocumented SD features or not the normal API calls that a BLE central device would use.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Its a shame that the source to the sniffer isn&amp;#39;t public, so that it would be possible to see how it works.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;div style="clear:both;"&gt;&lt;/div&gt;</description></item></channel></rss>
