Right. I'm not aware of any way of sniffing the BLE packets before they are sent over the air. On the air you can use a BLE sniffer to sniff the packets, but I'm not aware of any sniffer that is able to decode the IPv6 packets inside the BLE packets.

I see , I also check IPv6 packet format , 1633 a81d 0013 2f0a might be the optional headers, I know that the IPv6 information is compressed when be transmited, therefore, is the 6LN's 6lowpan module translate them to formal IPv6 packets ,and we got this pic,am i right?

And if I want to sniffer BLE header ,can i use tcpdump to check it?

Right. There is no BLE header in the pic, you are sniffing IPv6 packets, the IPv6 packets are disassembled at a lower level and put into BLE packets, sent over the link, and assembled on the other side.

Thanks, I replace the pic ,now is bt0 interface the yellow one is the coap packets , and your meaning is that the red one must not be a BLE header right ? Do you know what it means ? On the other hand , if so ,there is not BLE header information in this pic ,right?

If you send IPv6 over BLE the BLE header would be "outside" the IPv6 packets, but you are listening on an ethernet interface? eth0? Not a bluetooth interface? Like bt0?

thanks for reply, your mention is right and I will rewirte my question. I'm sure that the IPv6 header is 600e 8dee 0034 113f now .Therefore , i wonder to know that 1633 8c21 0034 dbf6 is BLE header like preamble ,access address,data header...etc ? Am i right? thanks!!!

I'm not sure I understand. Why would the BLE header be inside the IPv6 packet? BLE is a transport for IPv6 packets, so the IPv6 packets would be inside the BLE packets.
