i use a nrf52 developpment board, with the SDK 12.1.0. &lt;p&gt;Yes, there is an example on &lt;a href="https://github.com/NordicSemiconductor/nRF52-ADC-examples/tree/master/saadc_low_power"&gt;our GitHub&lt;/a&gt;. Note that this example is written for SDK 11, but there should not be that much trouble porting it to SDK 12.x.0.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;You can also use the SAADC in &lt;a href="http://infocenter.nordicsemi.com/topic/com.nordic.infocenter.sdk5.v12.0.0/hardware_driver_saadc.html?cp=4_0_2_2_13_1_0#saadc_blocking"&gt;blocking mode&lt;/a&gt;. An example can be found &lt;a href="https://devzone.nordicsemi.com/question/90030/a-quick-sample-on-how-to-use-blocking-nrf_drv_saadc_sample_convert/?answer=90212#post-id-90212"&gt;here&lt;/a&gt; (also SDK 11 example).&lt;/p&gt;
