Unfortunately, without having a phone it's hard to help you with this, and you may get better help elsewhere. However, it seems to me that it should be possible to discover any device. If you look at the heart rate program, you can see that it will ignore any device not a heart rate device, but if you remove this, I'd expect you to be able to discover all kinds of devices: https://github.com/blackberry/Cascades-Community-Samples/blob/master/HeartMonitor/src/DeviceListing.cpp#L57

Thanks Morten for your answer. Yes i have checked for the presentation and have also tried to workout with sample apps like Heart monitoring and Chicken app. This kind of app are meanly tested for specific BLE device as mentioned on github note. Also i have tested this app for mine BLE Device (Nordic) which not discovers at all.. Agreed about your last sentence: Remember that SPP is a Bluetooth Classic profile and not applicable for BLE.

Unfortunately, I don't think we've currently tested with this device, so I'm not sure how it works. However, I do see that they claim BLE support, so I would expect this to be possible. Have you seen this presentation? It seems to be pretty thorough on how this can be done.

Remember that SPP is a Bluetooth Classic profile and not applicable for BLE.
