I am new to nrf52 series and I have just started playing with NRF52 series Development kit. I am working on a project that requires the functionality of both ANT and BLE. The hardware I am using is NRF52 series nrf52832 development kit with a PCA10040

RE: S332 softdevice not working with ble examples of SDK 12.1.0

It would work, as long as the address is 0x1E30 or higher, but if the address is too low sd_ble_enable() inside softdevice_enable() will return an error, and the required ram address would be in app_ram_base.

RE: S332 softdevice not working with ble examples of SDK 12.1.0

I have understood that a valid ram start address and ram size is very critical and it can be obtained by calling the softdevice_enable() function. But this ram start address is required before the execution of the program and I would at least need to run the program once correctly to call the softdevice_enable() function. How can I call the softdevice_enable() function with a wrong ram1 address? would it work then?

RE: S332 softdevice not working with ble examples of SDK 12.1.0

It is the application ram starting address required by the SoftDevice.
