When you try to use a terminal to connect to that port: COM15, error shows.

When this happens, you have to reboot to get it work.

Anyone else has the same problem or is it just lucky me?

You see the port from Win Device Manager? Everything is okay from Win....

I have not seen the issue you describe, and I do not know why that happens. Please post a new question where you describe your setup and issue in detail. We will help you resolve it.

Hi Jørgen,

I do believe that this is a problem. If you leave the port open for over night. The port will be locked up somehow and becomes unavailable. You may have to reboot the PC to make it work again...and this is pain.

Do you have any idea who is causing that? Is it Segger Embedded Studio?

Do you have any workaround that will keep the port open as needed?

nRF51 DK. No, it isn't recognized. For now, I changed the JLINK to v9 version and nRF Connect can open the serial port finally. However, more problems are coming.When I click the port in the list, it says"could not open the port. Please power cycle the device and try again." Do you know how to fix this?Thank you for your time!

Hi, which board are you using? Is it a nRF51/nRF52 DK? Is the board recognized by your computer when you plug it in?
