I read some BLE profile but there are not explain about security configuration.
And I tested by using PCA10028, iPhone4s(ios9), iPhone5s(iso10) and ANSC example.
iPhone5s was connected but not paired

RE: About security configuration..

ANP is Alert Notification Profile and I'm just studying ble stack initialization with ble protocol yet. What BLE specs are you referring to? The Bluetooth Core specification? What is the ANP spec? If you are referring to a specific profile, you should implement it according to the spec, if not, there is no point in following it, because of interoperability. You can of course implement your own proprietary profile, but then other venders may not be able to communicate with your device.

RE: About security configuration..

Actually what I want to know is guideline of security configuration.

So that's why I'm testing in various situations.

The BLE specs have security requirments. But it is too brief.

e.g. ANP spec only refer to security mode and level. there are no whitlist, LESC, OOB and so on.

Can I configure settings that are not in the specification on my way?

RE: About security configuration..

The only example in SDK 11.0.0 that supports LESC is the BLE LE Secure Connections multirole example, so setting SEC_PARAM_LESC to 1 when LESC is not supported is not recommended.

I'm not sure why you see different behavior with the two iOS deivces, sniffer traces could shed some light on it though.

RE: About security configuration..

I'm using SDK 11.0 and softdevice s130.

RE: About security configuration..

Ok.
