Hi,

It's hard to give an example on the average current consumption without knowing how the application is going to work. If you are interested in only advertising current (beacon), I can give you some numbers on the expected current consumption if you provide me with the parameters, like advertising interval and advertising payload.

In order to find the battery capacity you need to look in the battery datasheet.

The typical capacity of Energizer's CR1632 is 130mAh. Check the datasheet for more detail.

The reason for specifying the vendor is that the capacity is slightly different, which can be a trivial issue, from each vendor.

View other vendor's CR1632 data for comparison.

Unfortunately, the members of this forum cannot calculate the average current for you since we don't have your custom application.

Even though you haven't changed the application firmware inside the beacon kit, not every member in here don't have the beacon kit.

You need a power measuring tools. I use the Monsoon Power Monitor to check the battery life.

So this is my suggestion;

Borrow or buy a power measuring tool and connect it with the beacon kit.

Then you can check the battery life.
