There are release notes as well if you look at "components\softdevice\s140\doc".

Cool. I see it in the list of available downloads when I log into "MyPage" zone one main Nordic website but then I get access denied. Having HEX binary in SDK is good but having release notes, migration document and API (to apply on top of older SDK) is sometimes needed as well... if anything from that exists for alpha release of course;) Anyone having luck with getting full release of S140 5.0.0-2.alpha?

Just found the softdevice 140 5.0.0 Alpha2 as part of the SDK13.0.0 in the folder "components\softdevice\s140\hex".
