If you use SDK 13 and have not renamed\moved any files, you should have this path (where the hex file is located): C:\path\to\SDK\components\softdevice\s132\hex and this argument: --family nrf52 --program s132_nrf52_4.0.2_softdevice.hex. You should however not get the family error because of wrong paths\filenames.

OK to make thing clear. I have this folder nRF5_SDK_13.0.0_04a0bfd

And I have following settings

In menu I have given name program_s132_3.0.0

Command: nrfjprog Initial folder C:\Users\usman\Desktop\nRF5_SDK_13.0.0_04a0bfd\components\softdevice\s132 --family nrf52 --program s132_nrf52_4.0.2.hex

NRF52 is connected but I am not sure about settings stored. How can I make sure of that ?

Are you sure that the settings were stored (is the family parameter shown in the Keil terminal)? And that you have a nRF52 device connected?

Hi,

still the same error message. I have following settings

command: nrfjprog Initial folder: C:\Users\usman\Downloads\nRF5_SDK_11.0.0_89a8197\examples\ble_peripheral\ble_app_uart

Arguments: --family nrf52 --program s132_nrf52_3.0.0_softdevice.hex

You also need to add it to the arguments of the programming task:

--family nrf52 --program s132_nrf52_3.0.0_softdevice.hex

I see that this might not be that well communicated in the post.

Yes, I added that as I said erase all is working but in second step

Programming SoftDevice.

I am getting this error message

nrfjprog --program s132_nrf52_3.0.0_softdevice.hex ERROR: The --family option given with the command (or the default from ERROR: nrfjprog.ini) does not match the device connected.

Did you add the --family nrf52 parameter, as described above in the post?
