Yes, but you need to update the whole advertising data when the button value change. See this post.

From what you write, you have swapped RAM and ROM settings. They shold be like this:

IROM1: Start: 0x18000, Size: 0x28000
IRAM1: Start: 0x20002000, Size: 0x6000

If you do not have the latest revision of the beacon kit (1.3.0 containing CFAC chip with 32 kB RAM), you also need to reduce IRAM1 size to 0x2000.

i tried ble_app_uart from sdk 8.0.0 in pca10028 and it is working.but i want to run it in pca20006.i changed device to 51822 & board to pca20006(in preprocessor settings) & ram settings to 0x18000,0x28000(size),rom to 20002000,8000(size). but still not working. is it possible? what else i should change?

Hi,

I would recommend that you go through the BLE tutorials about Advertising, Services, Characteristics, and central. This will give you a great introduction to how to do advertising, create your own service and characteristics, and to scan and connect the peripheral using a central.

In our SDK, you can also find many examples for both peripheral and central. For reading GPIOs, you should have a look at the GPIO abstraction documentation.
