When I say state that you have to modify the start address to match the start address of the secure bootloader, I mean that the start address of the attached SDK v11.0.0 bootloader must be set to the same start address as the SDK v12 bootloader you want to update to. So if the Secure bootloader has start address 0x3AC00, then the SDK v11.0.0 bootlaoder must also use this start address.

Best regards

and i found this question link:

https://devzone.nordicsemi.com/f/nordic-q-a/17218/bootloader-dfu-sdk11-to-sdk12

What do you mean by extracting the project file provided by the attachment, I also need to modify the IROM1 address configured in the bootloader project in sdk11.0? How should I modify it?

RE: update from sdk11.0.0 to sdk12.0.2 through dfu

Hi Raj,

The attached bootloader is based on SDK v11.0.0 and it supports both S130 v1.0.0 to S130 v2.0.x.

I had to modify a couple of the files in the bootloader library in addition to some changes in the S130 v2.0.0 headers. Its therefore easiest to zip and send ta minimal version of the SDK v11.0.0 that only contains the dual_bank_ble_bootloader_s130 for the PCA10028.

The zipped SDK is attached and you should only have to unzip it a the bootloader example should work "out-of-the-box". However, you have to modify the start address to match the start address of the secure bootloader. Lastly, please note that this bootloader has not been tested extensively.
