It sends gyroscope data. I finally managed to get it to work by writing the descriptor as a Joystick device. Works great using the native Windows HID joystick driver, haven't bothered checking OSX.

It's a consumer control and won't be used as keyboard. Your virtual keyboard will still appear when you connect to your device. Could you explain what exactly your device does ?

Thanks, but in that example, the device is set up as a HID keyboard. I'm looking for examples that are anything but mice or keyboards.

Hi Jan,

You can have a look at this example where we setup the nRF52 as a consumer control that can control volume or print out a string. Hope that help.
