As noted, it's quite likely that a semiconductor manufacturer would only consider this for extremely high volumes - so not the kind of thing that would go through Distribution.

Have you looked at the chip-scale packages that Nordic offer ... ?

If you want that kind of access I would suggest going here www.nordicsemi.com/.../register, registering yourself and then sending Nordic a technical support request on their 'My Page' system.

yes ,we just need unpackaged silicon. we contact local distributors ,but nothing much in progress.

I presume he's just talking about bare, unpackaged silicon?

Speaking to another silicon manufacturer the other day, they said they would only do this for a customer with seriously huge volumes.

One would have thought that such a customer would be a bit more savvy in finding an appropriate way to approach a supplier for such an order ...

@rols suker just want to contact Nordic and hasn't found better place... I guess Nordic might sell you chips without packaging if you pay nicely.

Am I misunderstanding or is someone asking in the dev forums for a way to access the entire chip IP upon which the whole company's success is built? I feel it's highly unlikely this individual meets success.
