Hey, the error was on my part. While debugging, I had commented out the advdata.flags variable. It is fixed now. Thanks

What SDK version and SDK example are you testing ?

Try debugging and see if you running into the error handler. See this post

Hey Sigurd, I did not initially. On setting this value to 0, the board does not advertise anymore. Again, I have disabled sleep_mode_enter() and removed BLE_ADV_EVT_IDLE case from on_adv_evt(). Also, changed the flag value as discussed above.

Did you set the timeout(APP_ADV_TIMEOUT_IN_SECONDS) to 0 ?

Hey Scott, I performed the steps discussed here, but I continue to have the same problem you were facing initially. I have changed

advdata.flags              = BLE_GAP_ADV_FLAGS_LE_ONLY_LIMITED_DISC_MODE;

advdata.flags              = BLE_GAP_ADV_FLAGS_LE_ONLY_GENERAL_DISC_MODE

in advertisin_init().

Is there any other change that I am missing? Thanks

Are you doing unlimited advertising(BLE_GAP_ADV_FLAGS_LE_ONLY_GENERAL_DISC_MODE) with timeout set to 0?
