&lt;p&gt;You can trigger a buzzer or LED if you configure the Proximity - Immediate Alert characteristic and writes to this from the Phone. I would recommend downloading nRFgo studio to take a closer look at the possible configurations. The nRF8002 is were simple to use, so it might not suite all applications. If you need more advanced functions consider using the nRF51 series or the nRF8001 connectivity chip.&lt;/p&gt;
