Using this interface you can program the device even if the bootloader is unavailable.</p> <p>The standard Nordic dongles can be programmed in this way if you have the nRFgo Motherboard and the nRF24LU1+ Development kit. They come with a cable that connects to the ISP header on the dongle. If you don&#39;t have a ISP header on the PCB then it is also possible to get chip programmers, that will program the devices before they are soldered on to the PCB (this is very common for production programming).</p> <p>It is theoretically possible to re-activate the bootloader in the device from the application, but relying exclusively on this is risky and might lead you to brick the device (unless you also include the option for ISP programming).</p> <p>Best regards<br /> Torbjørn</p><div style="clear:both;"></div>
